Qport - Payroll export module to third party software & systems

Export to third party payroll packages is performed using the Qport export module.

Qport and Qtime work together as a two tier structure. Qtime handles all generic rule sets/ award interpretation, while Qport includes award interpretation that is unique to an individual company's requirements. This approach keeps Qtime easy to use and learn, and ensures backward compatibility is maintained. The second tier, Qport, guarantees that virtually any set of rules can be implemented by our system. Being customised for a specific client also means we can respond rapidly to a companies requests for rule changes or additions. Qport helps eliminate the backward compatibilty problems common to many software products, (the "load the new upgrade with bated breath" syndrome!!)
